Every week, during this unfortunately abbreviated final season of Parks and Recreation, we’ll count off the things we’ll miss the most about that goddamn delight of a TV series. It’s an all-time great sitcom in its seventh year; there’s no reason to pick it apart and criticize things it MAYBE could have done differently. I’d rather just enjoy seeing Amy Poehler and Chris Pratt on my television screen for as long as they’ll be there. Which is only two more weeks. Oh god.
“Ms. Ludgate-Dwyer Goes to Washington”
1. “Work with zombies.” Andy’s utter devotion to April.

NBC
2. Ron’s secretive nature, not even telling his Parks and Recreation co-workers about his brothers, Don, Bob, and Lon (or his brothers about his Parks and Recreation co-workers).

3. The political cameos, including, in this episode alone, Barbara Boxer, Kirsten Gillibrand, John McCain, Cory Booker, Orrin Hatch, and Madeleine Albright.

NBC
4. Everyone on this damn show will have a happy ending… except the accountants.

NBC
5. This was April’s resume; she took her job very seriously.

BONUS: this is something I never want to see on Parks again. Like, ever.
