Just how good was last night’s Broad City? Kelly Ripa going full Adam West, complete with moonshine, mind-altering drugs, and prostitutes, was only the second best plot in the episode. During a bathroom break while working as the world’s worst coatcheck, Ilana runs into her doppelgänger, played by Alia Shawkat of Arrested Development fame. This is an in-joke between Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, who during the episode tweeted, “Fun fact: When I first met @ilazer almost 8 years ago… I thought she was @ShawkatAlia for at least 3 hours.”
They’re damn near identical, which is a big turn-on for both of them. At least until Abbi mentions to Ilana that she’s practically making out with herself, leading to this scene.
That O-face cannot be unseen.
