The body count on Justified doesn’t come close to the mounds of corpses on The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones — Michonne probably executed more Walkers in one episode than Tim and Rachel did bad guys in the entire series — but it’s still a substantial figure. Especially in the first season, when Raylan was a cocky, trigger-happy modern-day John Wayne, and the final season, where, well, Raylan’s still the same, but Boyd Crowder, no longer decked out in sleeveless shirts, has caught up with him. But who has more KILL notches on their belt?
In honor of tonight’s series finale (NOPE NOT READY), I re-watched every episode of Justified and kept track of the number of people Boyd and Raylan have killed. Some (Carl) are more memorable than others (Unnamed Bo’s Man #1), and most were taken down by a gun. I really hope Boyd brings back the rocket launcher tonight, like the good ol’ days.
