Even as Furious 7 continues to make all the money, to the tune of $1.5 billion, or the number of times “See You Again” has been played on the radio this hour, Vin Diesel is already thinking ahead to 8 Fast 8 Furious. Or is it Furious 8? Fast/Furious: Tokyocho Drift? Help us, Vin Diesel. You’re our only hope of putting some combination of the words “fast” and “furious” together.
He provided some clarity on Instagram yesterday.
So, what do we know?
1. It’s going to be called Fast & Furious 8.
2. It’s going to be set in New York, where Letty will say something like, “It’s called the Freedom Tower, but are we really free?” Or maybe she’ll just eat a hot dog from Papaya King, I dunno.
3. April 14 is now the summer.
