Justin Vernon may never release another album as Bon Iver, but he’ll always be Bonnie Bear to me. The Grammy winner recently told Grantland that “we [Bon Iver] don’t have anything booked” after the Eaux Claires Music Festival, which happened this weekend. And surprise-surprise, Vernon performed two new (very good) songs, both of which are about as sad-bastard-wrapped-in-a-sweater-of-emotions as you’d expect them to be. But now with synths!
