Low is about as understated as a band can be. For 20 years, the members of the Duluth, Minnesota, trio have been making stark, bittersweet minimalism sound gorgeous and enchanting, so it came as quite the surprise when they covered Rihanna’s “Low” at the Pitchfork Music Festival back in July.
