After releasing a number of buzzy singles and EPs, Slow Joy — the recording name of Chicano artist Esteban Flores — has announced his full-length debut album. A Joy So Slow At Times I Don’t Think It’s Coming is a heartfelt mixture of emo and shoegaze, which you can hear in electric first single “Gruesome.”

In a statement, Slow Joy discussed the importance of representation in the music scene: “Someone [in Albuquerque, New Mexico] told me, ‘It’s important to keep doing what you’re doing, championing it for all of us, because we had to work really hard to get to do music. Our families didn’t come from much. We had to grow into this. This is important for our culture.'”

‘The White Lotus’ Music Supervisor Defends The Show’s Polarizing Season 3 Theme Song

The White Lotus has proven to be slightly controversial in season 3. For instance, there are people who don’t think Parker Posey is giving a good performance as Lorazepam-popping matriarch Victoria Ratliff when, in fact, she’s giving a great performance.

Some The White Lotus viewers are also upset that the show has a new theme song from composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer. “the new white lotus theme song is mike white’s first miss,” reads one viral tweet. Once again, I think it’s an effective and seamless fit, but don’t take my word for it: here’s The White Lotus music supervisor Gabe Hilfer defending the theme to Rolling Stone.

“The song changes every season, and it reflects the tone, mood, and the themes of the season. The theme songs for the first two seasons were a little bit more related creatively, but they’re totally different songs. Season three is about spirituality, and it’s meant to be reflective of that,” he said.

Hilfer continued:

“I think that people are just noticing it more because it’s considerably different than last season. Last season’s theme song was so beloved that now people are like, ‘What happened to my favorite stuffed animal? You guys changed it.’ I will say it grows on you. I have a feeling by episode three, four, or five, people will have adjusted to it.”

You can listen to The White Lotus season 3 theme song (which, to be clear, is still a banger) below.

A ‘Family Guy’ Movie? Everything To Know About The Long Journey To Potentially Bringing The Griffins To The Big Screen

fox

Family Guy season 23 recently premiered on Fox. Season 23! This, from a show that was canceled twice. The only reason Family Guy nearly reaching two-dozen seasons is not a bigger deal is because fellow animated programs The Simpsons and South Park are in seasons 36 and 26 (soon-to-be 27), respectively. (Bob’s Burgers, at “only” 15 seasons, has catching up to do.)

It’s a remarkable achievement from the Seth MacFarlane-created series, which is now overseen by showrunners Alec Sulkin and Richard Appel, but The Simpsons, South Park, and Bob’s Burgers are ahead of Family Guy in another respect: a theatrically-released film. Could that eventually change?

Here’s everything about the potential Family Guy movie.

Plot

South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut came out during season 3 of South Park. The Simpsons Movie was released between seasons 18 and 19 of The Simpsons. The Bob’s Burgers Movie: ahead of season 13 of Bob’s Burgers.

So, why hasn’t there been a Family Guy movie?

(Before you yell at me like Joe screaming at Peter: the 2005 direct-to-DVD Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, which is basically three episodes stitched together, wasn’t released in theaters; unless there’s an awkward red carpet premiere with humans in character costumes, it’s not a real movie.)

In April 2024, Seth MacFarlane said that he’s known what a Family Guy movie will be “for the past 15 years” (that would place it around season 8), but “I just haven’t had the time to get to it.” He didn’t reveal any details about the plot, but The Wall Street Journal previously reported that the film “would mix animation with live action.” It’s unknown if that’s still true.

There have been other rumblings of a Family Guy movie over the years, dating as far back as 2007:

“We have been trying to figure out how to do that and the series at the same time without the series suffering,” MacFarlane said about a potential Family Guy feature, adding that this is a challenge that also caused the Simpsons film to come about so late… MacFarlane also would like to find a small story about the Griffin family that can be explored in a feature-length film. “I don’t want to do: the Griffins must save the world,” he said.

During a San Diego Comic-Con panel, co-showrunner Alec Sulkin said, “There are no specific plans for a movie right now, but it is something that’s on Seth’s mind. If I were a gambling man, I’d say within the next five years, probably there’ll be something.” That was in 2016, nine years ago.

Cast

With all due respect to Lacey Chabert, the Family Guy cast has been mostly unchanged for the entirety of the show’s run: Seth MacFarlane as Peter, Brian, Stewie, and Quagmire, among many others; Alex Borstein as Lois; Seth Green as Chris; Mila Kunis as Meg; Arif Zahir (replacing Mike Henry) as Cleveland; and Patrick Warburton as Joe. RIP Adam West.

Release Date

It’s going to be awhile, if it happens at all. Luckily, you can watch new episodes of Family Guy on Sunday nights on Fox.

‘Fallout’ Season 2: Everything To Know About The Video Game Series Heading To Vegas (March 2025 Update)

fallout show
prime video

We’re living in a golden age of TV shows based on video games.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a visual treat, while Peacock’s Twisted Metal is a lot of fun. There’s also Arcane, which recently wrapped up its acclaimed two-season run; the delightful Pokémon Concierge; and the shockingly good Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff series Knuckles. The two most prominent examples of the uptick in quality among TV show/video game adaptations, however, are The Last of Us and Fallout. They’re both wildly popular, critically admired, and were collectively nominated for (and won) a bunch of Emmys.

We’re aware of when The Last of Us is returning to HBO — but what about Prime Video’s Fallout? Here’s everything we know about season 2.

Plot

Let’s begin with a Fallout refresher. The series is set roughly 200 years following a nuclear attack, where “the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them,” according to the official logline.

The season 1 finale — in which Lucy learns the truth about her father, and teams up with The Ghoul to follow him — teases a new location for the show: Las Vegas (or “New Vegas”), one of the only major cities in North America, if not the only, that emerged from the nuclear apocalypse relatively unscathed.

“The idea that more stuff has happened, and that we’re not leaving worlds as we left them, was sort of the philosophy of approaching the first season being set in Los Angeles,” co-creator Graham Wagner told GQ about the change of setting (without straight-up confirming it). “We do hope to continue that, and create story on top of story… That’s been the entire exercise from the jump, right? 25 years of games, how do you do something on top of it, like a teetering Jenga tower. But that was always the goal. So we are hoping to do that again in another area that is strongly implied by the finale of the first season.”

Director and producer Jonathan Nolan described season 2 as “playing in the same space [as season 1], but not necessarily with the same elements.” In response, co-creator Geneva Robertson-Dworet said:

“I think what Jonah was maybe alluding to is there are 25 years of Fallout games. There were so many things that we were not able to put in the show that we really desperately wanted that are either brilliant ideas for characters, creatures, set pieces. We’re always going to be bringing in new things from the Fallout mythology as we move forward with the show.”

It’s obvious that they don’t want to give away too much about season 2, but Walton Goggins (The Ghoul) thinks the new episodes “blows [season 1] out of the water,” while Ella Purnell (Lucy) is tired of her “poop finger.”

Speaking of Ella and “The Ghoul Daddy”

Cast

Fallout season 2 will feature many returning faces from the first season, including Ella Purnell as Lucy, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Moisés Arias as Lucy’s brother Norm, Kyle MacLachlan as Lucy’s father Hank, Leslie Uggams as Betty, Zach Cherry as Woody, Annabel O’Hagan as Stephanie, Dave Register as Chet, and, of course, Walton Goggins as The Ghoul.

A new addition to the Fallout cast is Home Alone legend Macaulay Culkin as “a crazy genius-type character.” There’s been talk of Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul reuniting with Westworld co-creator Jonathan Nolan, as well.

Release Date

Filming for Fallout season 2 (which was officially renewed two weeks after season 1 premiered) was reportedly delayed due to the California wildfires, so don’t new episodes until 2026.

Trailer

Sadly, there’s no trailer for season 2 yet. But there is something even better: a nearly 12-minute video of the best of The Ghoul.

Elton John Joins Chappell Roan To Sing ‘Pink Pony Club’ At His Oscars Party

Elton John didn’t win an Academy Award on Sunday night; “Never Too Late,” his song with Brandi Carlile for the Disney Plus-streaming documentary Elton John: Never Too Late, lost to “El Mal” from Emilia Pérez.

Something tells me the “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” legend isn’t too bitter about it, though, since A) he already has two Oscars (for The Lion King and Rocketman), and B) later that night, he performed with Chappell Roan at his annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award Party.

Roan performed an 11-song set at the party, ending with a cover of “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” and her own “Pink Pony Club,” both with John.

You can watch the footage here.

John is a huge Chappell Roan fan. “It’s been a long time since I’ve witnessed someone master the art of performing so early in their career. Congratulations, Chappell Roan, you smashed it!” he wrote on Facebook following a 2024 performance at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

On his Apple Music radio show, Rocket Hour, John also told Roan, “I rang you the other night and said, ‘Listen, I’m not stalking you, but I’m as excited about your album’s success as you are.’ It’s wonderful to see true talent being recognized.”

Dutch Interior Share A Reflective New Song, ‘Beekeeping,’ From The Band’s Upcoming Album

Fresh off appearing on Steven Hyden’s list of his favorite music from February, Dutch Interior has released a new song. “Beekeeping” is the latest single from the Los Angeles-based group’s upcoming album Moneyball.

Vocalist Shane Barton described the thoughtful track as “a reflection on personal flaws. It cautions against maintaining stagnant relationships and serves as a reminder that doing so is more akin to an act of cruelty than a favor.” The song itself is lovely (that slide guitar!), even if the subject matter is anything but.

‘The Righteous Gemstones’ Season 4: Everything To Know About The Final Season Of HBO’s Hilarious Dysfunctional Family Comedy (March 2025 Update)

Walton Goggins is having a moment.

For the true Goggins-heads out there (a.k.a. Justified fans), that moment has been going on for well over a decade. But the oft-shirtless actor has reached a new level of popularity thanks to playing “Ghoul Daddy” on Fallout and older-man-with-a-hot-younger-girlfriend Rick Hatchett on The White Lotus. But don’t forget about Goggins’ finest post-Justified role: Uncle Baby Billy on The Righteous Gemstones, which is returning for its fourth and final season soon.

Here’s everything to know about The Righteous Gemstones season 4.

Plot

Let’s begin with the official season 4 logline: “The Righteous Gemstones tells the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work. Despite constant bickering, Gemstone family ties run deep, and this season, the family’s codependence is tested as they attempt to move forward without letting go of their storied past.”

The season 3 finale, in which Aimee-Leigh’s Force ghost watches her family crush stuff with a monster truck, could have worked as a series finale. But that’s because The Righteous Gemstones co-creator and star Danny McBride aims to have every season of his shows to feel like a complete story. “I ultimately want people to watch this more than once,” he told GQ. “We take a lot of time with the layers of this, with the type of comedy, with the nuance, because I just feel like shows that I’ve loved in the past, it’s not something that I’ve just watched week to week. It’s something I’ve watched week to week, and then I’ve gone back and revisited it just like I would a movie I like.”

As for season 4, McBride teased that patriarch Eli (John Goodman) is “going through some things in his life and trying to figure out how to take the next steps into whatever lays ahead for him,” while his son, Kelvin (Adam Devine), has “found a way to monetize being out of the closet” which “bristles” Jesse (McBride). There’s also Judy and BJ (Edi Patterson and Tim Baltz in god-tier performances), who “deal with an unexpected tragedy this season that tests their relationship and their love,” and Baby Billy (Goggins), who “has found more success than we’ve ever seen him before.”

McBride added:

“We take some massive swings this season with some stuff I don’t think the audience is going to see coming, and I’m very excited to see how it plays.”

As long as Keefe is happy, I’m happy.

Cast

The whole Gemstones extended family is back. There’s Danny McBride as Jesse, Adam Devine as Kelvin, John Goodman as Eli, Edi Patterson as Judy, Cassidy Freeman as Amber, Skyler Gisondo as Gideon Gemstone, Tim Baltz as BJ, Skyler Gisondo as Gideon, Jennifer Nettles as Aimee-Leigh, and, of course, Walton Goggins as Baby Billy Freeman and Valyn Hall as Tiffany Freeman.

The cast also includes Tony Cavalero as Keefe, Greg Alan Williams as Martin, James DuMont as Chad, Jody Hill as Levi, and Troy Hogan as Matthew.

Season 4 also welcomes some new faces to The Righteous Gemstones: Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) as Lori, a Gemstone family friend who used to write and perform with Aimee-Leigh; Seann William Scott (American Pie) as Lori’s son Corey; and Doughboys podcast favorite Arden Myrin as Corey’s wife Jana.

Everyone looks great.

That Kendrick Lamar And Drake Joke During The Oscars Led To The ‘Dumbest Post Of All Time’

Host Conan O’Brien’s Kendrick Lamar and Drake joke paid off big time at the 2025 Oscars. Not only because it was really good, but also because it made one of his writers 50 bucks.

During last night’s ceremony, the former Late Night host quipped, “We’re halfway through the show, which means it’s time for Kendrick Lamar to come out and call Drake a pedophile.” He added, “Don’t worry, I’m lawyered up.” Conan didn’t come up with the joke, however. Comedian and writer Skyler Higley took credit for it on X, writing, “wrote the Kendrick Lamar joke and bet our executive producer $50 that it would kill. just made $50.”

In a series of follow-up posts, Higley, a writer for Taylor Tomlinson’s After Midnight and a fan of good music, thanked “the academy and S&P for folding and not cutting this joke.” He was also told that “people being mad racist on this Nazi website. I’m not gonna break down how jokes work and structure to you. Unfortunately many of you are simply dumb and/or racist. I’m having a wonderful time tonight and that’s not changing!” The joke was so good, it even led to what Higley accurately described as the “dumbest post of all time.”

If Higley ever decides to retire from joke writing, he has a promising future as an illustrator!

Scowl Gets Animated (Literally) In Their Video For The Lively New Single ‘Tonight (I’m Afraid)’

Scowl have shared a new track from their upcoming album, Are We All Angels. Much like previous singles “B.A.B.E” and “Not Hell, Not Heaven,” “Tonight (I’m Afraid)” respects the balance between melodic alternative rock and hardcore intensity. The mid-song breakdown, leading into Kat Moss screaming over her affecting singing, is what makes Are We All Angels one of the most anticipated indie albums of the year.

On Are We All Angels, Scowl — made up of Moss (vocals), Malachi Greene (guitar), Mikey Bifolco (guitar), Bailey Lupo (bass), and Cole Gilbert (drums) — were inspired by everyone from Negative Approach, Bad Brains, and Hole to Billie Eilish, Radiohead, and Julien Baker.

“The majority of us were really not proficient musicians when this band started,” Moss explained. “It was very Germs-esque in that way, like baby’s first hardcore band, which is awesome. But now, we still might not know what we’re doing, but we have a better idea of what we want to do.” Greene added, “Hardcore and punk have sculpted how we operate, what we want to do as a band, and how we participate. At our core, we are a punk and a hardcore band, regardless of how the song shifts and changes.”

Car Seat Headrest’s First Album In Five Years, ‘The Scholars,’ Is A Rock Opera With An Epic First Single

Car Seat Headrest, one of the defining indie bands of the 2010s, have announced their first album in five years.

The Scholars is a self-described rock opera that’s set at a fictional college campus, Parnassus University, and follows the “students and staff whose travails illuminate a loose narrative of life, death, and rebirth.”

The rest of the logline reads:

Rosa studies at the medical school of Parnassus University. After an experience bringing a medically deceased patient back to life, she begins to regain powers suppressed since childhood, of healing others by absorbing their pain. Each night, instead of dreams, she encounters the raw pain and stories of the souls she touches throughout the day. Reality blurs, and she finds herself taken deep into secret facilities buried beneath the medical school, where ancient beings that covertly reign over the college bring forth their dark plans.

Car Seat Headrest — which consists of singer Will Toledo, lead guitarist Ethan Ives, drummer Andrew Katz, and bassist Seth Dalby — have also shared the album’s epic first single, the nearly 11-minutes-long “Gethsemane.” Above, you can watch the track’s cinematic video, directed by Andrew Wonder.

Amanda Seyfried Addresses Those Sabrina Carpenter In ‘Mamma Mia 3’ Rumors On ‘The Tonight Show’

Before she was a chart-topping pop star, Sabrina Carpenter appeared on Disney Channel shows like Girl Meets World. She was even in one episode of Orange Is The New Black! Amanda Seyfried wouldn’t be opposed to the “Espresso” singer returning to acting in future Best Picture winner Mamma Mia 3.

Last year, Seyfried expressed interest in Carpenter playing her character’s daughter. “You know what?” she told ABC News’ Will Ganss. “Old age makeup for me. That’s what it will be… I’m an actor. I’ll do it. If Sabrina Carpenter wants to play my daughter, I’ll make it happen. It’s fine. She’s… I’m a big fan.”

The topic came up again during Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show, but don’t get too excited about Carpenter entering the Mamma Mia-verse actually happening.

“Somebody said she was a fan of the musical,” the Long Bright River actress told host Jimmy Fallon, “and they said, ‘Couldn’t she play your daughter one day?’ They fed it to me, and I was like, ‘Yeah, that would be great.’ It’s not like I was like, ‘You know who should play my daughter?'” That being said, Seyfried of “big fan” of Carpenter’s.

Seyfried also showed off an unexpected skill of hers: she’s really good at playing the dulcimer! Check out her cover of Joni Mitchell’s “California,” from the immortal album Blue, in the video above.

Forget chicken or fish. One groom picked beef on his wedding day — Kendrick Lamar’s beef with Drake.

On March 1, Adler Marchand and Shamar Marchand got married at the Hilton Miami Aventura in Florida. Congratulations to the happy couple! To make the day extra special, Marchand walked down the aisle to a special wedding-themed remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” complete with choreography from his Super Bowl halftime show performance.

“The response from our guests was absolutely incredible — they went wild, hyping me up the entire way down the aisle,” Adler told People. “Many friends and family members mentioned that they expected nothing less, given my energy and creative talents.” He was originally going to “casually” walk down the aisle to Young Thug and Gunna’s “Hot,” but “after thinking about it more, I decided to remix Kendrick’s Halftime performance lyrics and reached out to my friend and producer Danny Ramirez, to see if he could rap and create it for me. Once he sent it back perfectly, I shared it with my fiancée at the time, and she approved. Then, I ran it by my best man, and he liked it, too.”

The wedding entrance has gone viral (Michael Scott would be proud) with over 18 million views on TikTok. You can watch the video here.

Do you know why Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ score for Challengers wasn’t nominated for an Oscar? Because I sure don’t! As we wrote in our Best Albums Of 2024 list, “The result is the best bridge we’ve had yet between both of Reznor and Ross’ worlds: an album that’s as cinematic as it is cohesive.”

Thankfully, you might be able to hear “Challengers” performed live: Nine Inch Nails has enlisted artist-producer Boys Noize, who released a thrilling remix album of the score, to open for them on the Peel It Back World Tour.

The Intriguing ‘Range Life: A Pavement Story’ Teaser Trailer Stars Joe Keery As Stephen Malkmus

The latest member of the “weird” music biopic family: Pavement.

Range Life: A Pavement Story is described as “a story about the world’s most important and influential band, Pavement.” The film — which appears to be both a documentary about the indie rock greats and a self-aware parody of the genre — was directed by Alex Ross Perry (Her Smell, very long episodes of the Blank Check podcast) and stars Stranger Things actor Joe “Djo” Keery as Stephen Malkmus. The cast also includes Jason Schwartzman, Fred Hechinger, Tim Heidecker, Logan Miller, Griffin Newman, and Nat Wolff.

“[Range Life: A Pavement Story] is four or five films rolled into one,” Ross Perry said about the movie, “because I wish that all musical biopics and standard-issue documentaries were 30 minutes long. I’d watch more of them that way. There has never been a band like Pavement, and I hope there has never been a film like [Range Life: A Pavement Story]. It both is and is not.”

He added, “It presupposes that an iconic band deserves all the cultural victories typically afforded to much more financially successful artists. But what I learned while making [the film] is that Pavement deserve these tributes. It is time to ask questions about how stories about musicians are told and sold and for us as the audience to demand more innovation in our biographical portraits.

Haim’s Artwork For Their Upcoming Song ‘Relationships’ References An Iconic Nicole Kidman Meme

The “Six Degrees Of Kevin Bacon” game between Haim and Nicole Kidman got just a lot easier.

On Wednesday (March 5), Haim shared the artwork for their upcoming single, “Relationships.” It shows Alana, Danielle, and Este looking jubilant with their eyes closed in a sunny parking lot, a reference to a photo of Nicole Kidman that was supposedly taken after her divorce to Tom Cruise was finalized. The much meme’d pic of Kidman is real; the Cruise backstory, not so much.

“That was from a film, that wasn’t real life,” she told GQ UK. “That’s not true.”

You can see Haim’s “Relationships” artwork here.

Haim haven’t released an album since 2020’s Women In Music Pt. III, but the sisters have remained busy, including opening for Taylor Swift on The Eras Tour. Alana also starred in Paul Thomas Anderson’s 2021 film Licorice Pizza. The director — who, in a further connection to Kidman, worked with Cruise on Magnolia — cast the youngest of the Haim sisters after seeing the group perform at Coachella. “Paul helped us with our Coachella set in 2018,” she told The Daily Texan. “He says he turned to me and said, ‘I’m going to put you in a movie one day.’ I vaguely remember that, but I don’t really remember.”

Alana appears in PTA’s new film, One Battle After Another, which is scheduled to come out this year.

Rachel Chinouriri Previews Her ‘Little House’ EP With The Fairytale-Like Single ‘Can We Talk About Isaac?’

Chappell Roan blew up in popularity after opening for Olivia Rodrigo. Could Rachel Chinouriri, who is supporting Sabrina Carpenter on the Short N’ Sweet Tour in the U.K. and Europe, be next? (I’ll answer that for you: she should!)

A day after her first show with Carpenter, Chinouriri announced that she’s releasing a new EP, Little House, on April 4. The indie-pop artist also shared the first single “Can We Talk About Isaac?”

“I write songs from a place of trauma but since releasing my album, I’ve consistently been in therapy and fell in love,” she said in a statement. “Isaac makes me feel so protected and I’ve never felt protected really in my life, especially from men. I just felt so much of a new emotion I decided to let myself write about how much I love him, no matter what happens the fact that Isaac is the first and only guy to make me feel like this is special. It’s a shame that it took that to love myself but Isaac is my hero and I hope this fairytale never ends.”

You can watch the “Can We Talk About Isaac?” video above, and check out the Little House tracklist and Chinouriri’s tour dates below.

Coldplay is two albums away from retirement, but they’re staying busy until then. The Music Of The Spheres World Tour was recently named the most-attended tour of all-time, and singer Chris Martin is working with FIFA to curate the first Super Bowl-style halftime show at the World Cup final at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium next year.

“I can confirm the first ever half-time show at a FIFA World Cup final in New York New Jersey, in association with (advocacy organization) Global Citizen. This will be a historic moment for the FIFA World Cup and a show befitting the biggest sporting event in the world,” FIFA president Gianni Infantino wrote on Instagram. “I also want to thank Chris Martin and [manager] Phil Harvey of Coldplay, who will be working with us at FIFA to finalize the list of artists who will perform during the halftime show, as well as at Times Square.”

It’s unclear if Coldplay will be the ones doing the performing (now’s your chance, Weird Al!). Infantino also didn’t reveal whether the halftime would be extended beyond the traditional 15 minutes.

Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour returns to the North America in May before wrapping up in London in August.

Bill Murray Addresses Those Wild Rumors That He Dated Kelis (And How Ol’ Dirty Bastard Is Involved)

Remember when Bill Murray and Kelis were rumored to be dating? That was weird! Now, nearly two years later, the Ghostbusters actor discussed exactly what was going on there — and the way Ol’ Dirty Bastard is involved.

“I met this girl named Kelis. I got great press that I was dating her, which really raised my cred,” Murray said during a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Sway In The Morning. “Well, it was false humility again.”

The actor first became aware of the “Milkshake” singer after watching the music video for “Got Your Money” by Ol’ Dirty Bastard. “That song just kills me,” he explained. “I love that video. And I kept going, ‘That’s the silliest thing. How did I miss that when it came out in the first place? It’s so crazy.’ And I’m going, ‘Who is that girl with the red hair?’ and it was Kelis. I just had to meet her some time. She turns out to be spectacular.”

Murray then gave an update on what Kelis is up to these days. “She bought land in Kenya, in Africa. She’s in Africa,” he said. “She is not afraid of the dark.”

Ultimately, they never actually dated, but Murray hasn’t ruled out the possibility of it happening one day. “Hey, you know, one of us could be on the rebound any second,” he joked. “She might need a plowman down there.”

What Is ‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown’s Real Name?

We, as a society, don’t talk enough about the fact that the star of one of the most popular shows on TV is named Millie Bobby Brown. “Millie”? Sure, that makes sense. But “Bobby Brown”? That name is already taken (and reminds me of the 30 Rock joke where Michael Sheen’s Wesley Snipes vents about the other Wesley Snipes). What’s even crazier is Millie Bobby Brown is not her real name, as the Stranger Things star revealed this week.

During an interview with BuzzFeed UK to promote Netflix’s The Electric State, MBB told co-star Chris Pratt that “my middle name is Bonnie.” After he jokingly wondered if that means her full name is “Millie Bobby Bonnie Brown,” she clarified, “No, it’s no Bobby. It’s Millie Bonnie Brown.” The actress added, “I’ve never told anyone that. You heard it here first.”

So, why the name change? Is it because she loves Ghostbusters II so much? Not exactly:

Still confused by the revelation, Pratt inquired, “Your middle name is Bonnie but you just changed it to Bobby for your stage name?”

“For sh*ts and giggles,” Brown teased, before confirming it was a stage name. “Oh sh*t!” Pratt exclaimed.

But along with a different middle name, Brown recently took on a new last name. Last May, the actress tied the knot with Jake Bongiovi, taking on the name of Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi.

A small but crucial name change? She really married into the right family.

The Electric State premieres on Netflix on March 14.

There’s ‘A Reason’ Charli XCX’s Old Album Covers Still Look Like ‘Brat’ On Streaming

Last year, Charli XCX changed the covers of her previous albums on streaming services to match the instantly-iconic Brat aesthetic, just with different colors. Gone is Charli XCX in a bikini on the hood of a car, having been replaced by the word “Crash” over an all-blue background. With the Brat Tour coming to an end in a few months, does Charli plan on changing the covers back?

“I see that you want this, I know that you want this, and I love that you want it. I love this narrative,” Charli XCX said on TikTok. “But all I’ll say is, every single thing that I’ve done, even the tiniest, smallest thing, has been for a reason. Like to the point where some people wouldn’t even know.” She continued, “What I’m saying is, everything has a purpose, everything I do has a purpose, and so when this happens, it will be for a reason.”

As for what’s next for Charli (other than her movie career), she told Variety, “I don’t really know. I’m kind of at this crossroads, I think, in my life now, where obviously my music has… yeah, reached this new level of success, I suppose. A lot has changed for me with this record, and I do experience things like people taking my photo when I don’t necessarily want them to, or feeling like people in the room are watching me. Sometimes I love that feeling and sometimes I don’t, so I don’t think there’s really a cut-and-dried answer.”

Bhad Bhabie’s Eventful Week Included A Reported Break-In And Revealing Her Impressive OnlyFans Earnings

As if feuding with Alabama Barker wasn’t enough, Bhad Bhabie is having quite the week beyond that.

According to TMZ, three gunmen allegedly attempted to “storm inside the rapper’s Los Angeles area home” on Thursday. Her on-again, off-again boyfriend Le Vaughn (who had recently been discharged from the hospital after reportedly getting shot during an incident at a strip club) was at the house with the “Ms. Whitman” rapper, but “it was Bhabie who called the cops. Police raced to the scene, but the trespassers were already gone.”

The publication also noted, “It’s unclear if the strip club shooting is connected to the attempted break-in at Bhabie’s home. We’ve reached out to police for more information, so far no word back.”

Meanwhile, earlier in the week, Bhad Bhabie revealed her career earnings on OnlyFans.

“When we first started, I made a million dollars in six hours,” the 21-year-old said on a Twitch stream with DDG. “And by the end of day it was like $4 million. Now, overall, the net on it is like $75 million.”

That makes her the “highest-earning celebrity” on OnlyFans (at least among those who have publicly shared their income). And where does the money go? “I got properties, cars, all type of sh*t,” Bhabie said.

Sabrina Claudio’s ‘Need U To Need Me’ Is The Smooth Beginning To A New Chapter

R&B star Sabrina Claudio has a new label and a new song. On Friday (March 7), the “Better Version” singer released the silky-smooth “Need U To Need Me,” her first release in partnership with independent record label EMPIRE.

“I wrote ‘Need U To Need Me’ as a fear-based admission,” Claudio said in a statement. “A romanticized translation of longing and yearning to be a necessity to the ones you love most. While most stigmatize needing as a form of weakness, I believe admitting that needing someone or desiring to be needed is a form of strength that can potentially breed a sense of closeness and community with those you value.”

About signing with EMPIRE, the two-time Grammy winner (including Best Traditional R&B Performance for co-writing Beyoncé’s “Plastic Off The Sofa”) told Billboard, “I think my uniting with Empire was divine timing. There’s a reason why after nearly 10 years of being an artist, now was the right time to have come together. They have been a blessing in my life. Their support for the art I’ve created is unlike anything I’ve experienced before and I am beyond grateful to have partners who only want to enhance and champion my vision.”

Never Stop Being A Little Freak, Robert Pattinson

There were only two good things that happened in the first six months of 2020. One was Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite winning Best Picture. The other: Robert Pattinson blowing up his microwave while trying to invent a pasta dish involving cornflakes and nine packs of pre-sliced cheese. Would it surprise you that, five years later, these two isolated incidents are now connected?

This weekend sees the release of Mickey 17, the long-delayed sci-fi dark comedy directed by Bong and starring Pattinson and… Pattinson. It also brings the end to another wild press tour, where the actor has talked about everything from “scent dyslexia” to his preference of getting a dog over visiting space (?), and participated in a viral TikTok game involving a cow.

Here’s the thing about Robert Pattinson: he’s a great actor, someone who excels at action (The Batman), comedy (The Lighthouse; yes, it’s a comedy), sci-fi drama (High Life), Westerns (Damsel), animation (The Boy and the Heron), and panic attacks (Good Times). But he’s also a total weirdo. Let it be known that I say this with complete and utter affection. Admiration even.

Take an incident that happened in 2011. During an interview with Matt Lauer (I must reiterate: this was 2011) on Today, Pattinson told a story about witnessing a clown car blowing up at the circus. “The little car exploded — the joke car exploded on him. Yeah, seriously,” he said. “Everyone ran out. It was terrifying… The only time I’ve ever been to a circus.” Over a decade later, Pattinson confessed he made the whole thing up. “There was absolutely no hesitation at all [in my voice],” he said in 2024 after revisiting the interview. “I’m like, ‘What on earth? Are you possessed?’ The only thing people would ever ask me about was being famous. You go into, like, a fugue state.”

This is not the only thing that Pattinson has made up because a) he was bored, and b) he’s a scamp:

-He lied about inviting a stalker to dinner

-He lied about a deleted scene in Twilight involving coprophilia

-He lied about working as a women’s hand model

-He lied about not working out to play Batman

Did Mr. Waterhouse lie about watching a horror movie while holding “two kitchen knives” because he was scared someone was going to break into his house? We’ll find out someday!

No offense to Timothée Chalamet, who was very good at playing Bob Dylan, but Pattinson better embodies the singer’s mischievous “I was with the carnival off and on for six years” spirit. He understands that sometimes a ridiculous lie is better than the boring truth.

Pattinson’s freakiness (not that kind; now who’s the freak?) extends beyond making sh*t up, though.

A-list stars typically don’t conceal their recognizable pipes when they’re doing voiceover work for an animated movie. Not Pattinson, though. In The Boy and The Heron, he sounds like he’s regurgitating a pile of cigarettes. He also loves doing (non-problematic) accents — the wilder, the better. Pattinson refused a dialect coach for The Devil All The Time, where he plays a fire-and-brimstone Southern reverend, and didn’t let anyone in the cast and crew hear the (insane) voice he came up with until the first day of shooting. More actors should listen to that “little gremlin” inside of them, and take wild swings like finding inspiration from Ren and Stimpy mixed with Steve Buscemi in Fargo.

There’s something Pattinson loves even more than weird accents, however: playing freaky lil’ guys. “In the last five or six years, I’ve almost exclusively played weirdos,” he said, presumably proudly, to Vanity Fair in 2020. And that was before he portrayed cinema’s most notorious loner weirdo.

The early, overwhelming success of Twilight has allowed Pattinson a creative (and financial) freedom that really only Kristen Stewart and Daniel Radcliffe can relate to. He wants “to do strange things,” and auteur filmmakers like Claire Denis, Robert Eggers, and Christopher Nolan are thrilled to work with him for his talent and for “the madness in his eyes,” as Bong told USA Today.

In that sense, Mickey 17, which features Pattinson playing multiple versions of the same character, is the perfect movie for him. He’s finally found someone who can match his freak: himself.

Griff’s ‘Last Night’s Mascara’ Has Gone From ‘Album Reject Song’ To Fan Favorite With A Cathartic Video

A highlight of Griff‘s headlining Vertigo tour and supporting slot on Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet Tour was “Last Night’s Mascara.” The fan-favorite track has over 23 million streams on Spotify after nearly being lost in a pile of demos (it was an “album reject song,” as Griff put it). On Friday (March 7), the “Tears For Fun” singer released a music video for the cathartic song.

“It’s definitely a continuation of Vertigo, but I’m not boxing it in,” Griff said about “Last Night’s Mascara” to Rolling Stone. “It’s kind of just there. Again, it’s a bit of an experiment, so it’s not that defined in any kind of spot. But I like the idea that people could discover ‘Last Night’s Mascara’ and go back to the album and still love it in the same way and hear the same emotions and feelings. I think now I’m just in a spot where the pressure’s off. The debut album suffocating cloud is gone now.”

Ahead of releasing that debut album, Vertigo, Griff spoke to Uproxx about her love of pop music. “As soon as I learned to play chords [on the piano], I felt like I knew everything I needed to know,” she said with a laugh. “I thought, ‘Oh, I can cover and sing anything I want to now,’ because most pop songs are four chords. That was a big eureka moment for me when I started to neglect all the classical stuff. I just wanted to sing and play pop songs.”

‘The Lord Of The Rings: The Hunt For Gollum’: Everything To Know About Andy Serkis’ Return To Middle-Earth

newline cinema

In the first week of March 2025, the most-watched movie on Max is The Lord of the Rings. No, not Peter Jackson’s The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, or The Return of the King, or any of his Hobbit films. It’s The War of the Rohirrim, director Kenji Kamiyama’s anime prequel that underperformed at the box office but has clearly found an audience on streaming.

The War of the Rohirrim is the last The Lord of the Rings movie for a bit, but the next one will be worth the wait. Here’s everything we know about The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, directed by Gollum himself, Andy Serkis.

Plot

The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum announcement came with a statement from Andy Serkis, who provided the motion-capture performance and voice for Gollum in Peter Jackson’s Oscar-winning The Lord of The Rings trilogy. He will direct the new film, with a script from Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, Phoebe Gittins, and Arty Papageorgiou.

“Yesssss, Precious,” Serkis wrote. “The time has come once more to venture into the unknown with my dear friends, the extraordinary and incomparable guardians of Middle Earth Peter, Fran, and Philippa. With [Warner Bros. executives] Mike and Pam, and the Warner Bros team on the quest as well, alongside WETA and our filmmaking family in New Zealand, it’s just all too delicious…”

Here’s what Jackson, Walsh, and Boyens had to say:

“It is an honour and a privilege to travel back to Middle-earth with our good friend and collaborator, Andy Serkis, who has unfinished business with that Stinker — Gollum! As life long fans of Professor Tolkien’s vast mythology, we are proud to be working with Mike De Luca, Pam Abdy, and the team at Warner Bros. on another epic adventure!”

No official plot details were provided, but according to The Playlist, The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum will take place around the events of Bilbo’s 111st birthday party, as depicted in The Fellowship of the Ring.

“Yes, it’s deliberately the bridging film and the story we wanted to tell,” Boyens told the publication. “It does center on Gollum/Smeagol, so it’s a little bit of an origin story going on, but when you delve into it, as you do with anything Professor Tolkien wrote, you see the layers and layers of story that’s underneath there and how interconnected they all are.”

Does that make it The Lord of The Rings version of Rogue One? Rogue One Ring, if you will.

Cast

The only confirmed cast member is, well, Andy Serkis as Gollum. However, there’s a strong possibility of seeing some familiar faces again.

Last September, Ian McKellen (Gandalf) shared to Big Issue that he’s “been told there are going to be more films and Gandalf will be involved and they hope that I’ll be playing him. When? I don’t know. What the script is? It’s not written yet. So they better be quick!” Viggo Mortensen is also up for reprising his role as Aragorn, as long as he’s “right for it in terms of, you know, the age I am now and so forth,” the actor told GQ UK. “I would only do it if I was right for the character. It would be silly to do it otherwise.”

As you might imagine, Serkis isn’t giving up the goods until every “i” (of Sauron) is dotted and every “t” is crossed. “I don’t want to commit anything right now. I mean, because it’s so raw and so raw and wriggling, and we are just literally having very early state script discussions and ideas of exactly where and how we’re going to drop anchor with the character and his journey and how he is or comes into contact with other characters, and the characters that we know and don’t know,” he said. “I would hate to say anything that’s going to commit us at this point, because it’s literally all up for grabs.”

Release Date

The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum was originally scheduled for 2026, but since they’re still “at the beginning of the writing process,” the release date has been pushed back to December 2027. Also out that month: “Untitled Star Wars film” and “Untitled Warner Bros. Pictures family sequel.” I’m hearing strong Oscars buzz for “Untitled Warner Bros. Pictures family sequel.”

Trailer

There’s no trailer yet, but here’s Gollum’s fish song.

Sabrina Carpenter ‘Arrests’ Salma Hayek For Being ‘So Gorgeous’ During The ‘Short N’ Sweet Tour’

A highlight of Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet Tour is the “Espresso” singer “arresting” someone in the crowd for being too hot. Usually, it’s a random fan plucked from the crowd, but the honor occasionally goes to a celebrity, like Millie Bobby Brown (sorry, Millie Bonnie Brown), Marcello Hernandez as his SNL character Domingo, and Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley.

During Sunday’s show at the O2 Arena in London, the fuzzy pink handcuffs were presented to Salma Hayek.

“Oh my goodness. Who is this woman in the front?” Carpenter said with mock-surprise when she spotted Hayek. “I need some of that. For real. Wow, you are so gorgeous.” She continued, “It’s crazy ’cause I just met you, but I’m already in love with you, and I feel like we’re kind of destined. I’m getting hot because you’re there.” That’s when Carpenter’s long dressed “fell off” and turned into a mini-skirt, complete with Union Jack boots. “You see what you do to me, Salma,” Carpenter added before performing fan-favorite track “Juno.”

You can watch the video of Carpenter “arresting” Hayek here.

The Short N’ Sweet Tour continues throughout the year with “even sweeter” dates, including a Halloween show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Lady Gaga was a dynamo in one of the best episodes of SNL this season. Her performance of “Killah,” a highlight from new album Mayhem, made great use of the Studio 8H space, and she sarcastically thanked the Razzies for nominating her for Worst Actress and Worst Screen Combo (which she and co-star Joaquin Phoenix won) for Joker: Folie à Deux.

But Gaga had a hard time keeping it together during one of the episode’s more memorable sketches. In “Little Red Glasses,” the “Abracadabra” singer appears alongside cast members Sarah Sherman and Ego Nwodim to preach the power of, well, little red glasses. “Little red glasses have the eye-catching quality of a stop sign,” Nwodim said, with Gaga adding, “And they pair perfectly with things that make me me, like if I’m in the sauna, you know you’re seeing everything.” It’s the next line, delivered by Sherman, that caused Gaga to break: “All my dress-up clothes are a little bit Asian.”

As noted by @katiesenigma on X, “if you’re wondering why the crowd was laughing so hard around 1:12, gaga fully broke character and was laughing her ass off (you can see her bend down in the side of the frame).” Even though Gaga is mostly off screen, you can still tell that she’s shaking from laughter.

Jennie And Dua Lipa Are Quick To Fall In Love In The Flashy ‘Handlebars’ Video

Jennie — one of the four very active members of Blackpink — released her debut solo album last week. Ruby includes hit singles like “Love Hangover,” “ExtraL,” and “Handlebars,” which also features Dua Lipa. Jennie has now released a music video for the sultry track, which captures the thrill of falling in love without considering the consequences.

You can watch the “Handlebars” video above.

Back in 2023, Jennie went on Dua Lipa’s At Your Service podcast and talked about her complicated feelings about being Blackpink’s rapper. “I’ve gotten into the whole idea of rapping because of the language that I was working with,” she said. “Back when I was a trainee, I thought, ‘This is what I’m supposed to do’ and I got so into it that by the time we debut in my head I’m thinking, ‘I’m a rapper.’ In my head I’m gonna go out there and rap my ass off.”

She continued, “I kind of got confused because the more I did singing and music I came to realize that there’s a big side of me inside that I love to sing, just play with my vocals. But I actually never had the chance to really explore that as a trainee because I got told that I should be a rapper, you know? So there was a phase where I would hate to rap.”

Ruby is out now via Odd Atelier/Columbia Records. Find more information here.

Ice Spice Shares Proof Of Having The Same Wardrobe Malfunction As Chappell Roan During Paris Fashion Week

Wardrobe malfunctions are unavoidable at Paris Fashion week — there’s a lot of wardrobes! In fact, Ice Spice and Chappell Roan both suffered similar sartorial emergencies during the twice-a-year celebration of fancy clothes.

On Sunday (March 10), the “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” rapper shared a photo of Roan wearing a tight leather dress with a ripped backside, exposing her underwear underneath. “mine ripped in the same spot,” Ice Spice wrote in an Instagram Story. In a follow-up post, she showed the proof.

You can see the (slightly NSFW) photos here.

Back in August 2024, Ice Spice — who once rapped, “I’m thick ’cause I be eatin’ oats” — addressed a rumor that she was using Ozempic. “I wish y’all never learned the word ‘Ozempic.’ That’s one thing I wish,” she said during an X Spaces chat. “Oh my god, like, what even is Ozempic? What the f*ck is that? Like, genuinely, what is that, bro? Like, you lazy-ass bitches never heard of a gym? It’s called the gym, it’s called eating healthy, it’s called being on tour. Like, what the hell? Maybe if I was sitting home all day, it would be easier to stay big.”

The rapper also shared a video of her workout routine with the caption: “we beatin them allegations bae.”

Here’s Why Beyoncé Doesn’t Star In Movies Anymore, According To Her Mom

Here’s a fun trivia question for you: what was the most recent live-action movie to star Beyoncé? It’s not The Lion King and Mufasa: The Lion King; those are animated, and only feature her voice. Same with 2013’s Epic.

Give up? The answer is Obsessed, the campy psychological thriller with Idris Elba and Ali Larter that came out in 2009. Since then, Beyoncé has focused on her music career — that’s working out pretty well for her. But is there a chance the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer could return to the big screen? Unless Carmen: A Hip Hopera gets an IMAX re-release, which it should, probably not.

That’s according to Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, who shared a video on Instagram about her daughter donating her salary for 2008’s Golden Globes-nominated Cadillac Records to drug treatment centers. “This is still one of my favorite movies and it makes me miss the fact that my child decided not to continue with movies,” she wrote. “She killed it in this movie, and she so unselfishly donated her salary to the Phoenix house.”

It’s as simple as Beyoncé didn’t want to continue making movies. That makes sense: once you’ve starred in Austin Powers In Goldmember, you’ve reached the peak of cinema excellence. There’s nowhere left to go but down.

When Is Kendrick Lamar’s Movie With The ‘South Park’ Creators Coming Out?

Combined, Kendrick Lamar and South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are only an Oscar away from an EGOT. By this time in 2026, maybe they’ll have it.

Years before Lamar accused Drake of being a pedophile in front of 127 million people, it was announced that the rapper was working with Stone and Parker on a live-action comedy that will “depict the past and present coming to a head when a young Black man who is interning as a slave re-enactor at a living history museum discovers that his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned his.” The script is from Vernon Chatham (the voice of Towelie!), while Stone, Parker, Lamar, and his pgLang partner Dave Free are on board as producers.

That’s all we knew about the movie, until last year when Stone offered more details during a conversation with Bloomberg. “We are doing a movie with Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free and their company [pgLang],” he said. “And we are working on it, and it will hopefully come out July 4th weekend, opposite Jurassic Park which is pretty funny.” Stone added that Lamar is “very involved, and Dave Free is very, very involved. Every day they are working on it. But that is what we are doing, and then we will do South Park.” So…

When Does The Kendrick Lamar / South Park Creators Movie Come Out?

There were recent reports about the film releasing on July 11, but that date is unconfirmed. So, until we hear otherwise, pencil the comedy for July 4, 2025.

Florry‘s 2023 album The Holey Bible was one of our favorites from that year. Now, the twangy group is back with a new album, Sounds Like…

“The Jackass theme song was actually a really big influence on the new album,” bandleader Francie Medosch said about Sounds Like… in a statement, which should be true of more albums. Besides The Minutemen, you can also hear the country-rock influence of The Band and Silver Jews; the album was produced by Colin Miller, a bandmate of MJ Lenderman.

These New Puritans Enlist Caroline Polacheck For ‘Industrial Love Song’ From Their Upcoming Album

These New Puritans are back with their first new album in six years. The art-rock duo of twin brothers Jack and George Barnett have announced that Crooked Wing is coming out on May 23, and it will feature contributions from jazz double-bassist Chris Laurence and pop auteur Caroline Polachek.

Crooked Wing is preceded by gorgeous singles “Bells” and “Industrial Love Song,” which Jack called “a duet between two cranes on a building site. Caroline sings the part of one crane, I sing the other; they can’t touch (their movements are controlled by the operator), but when the sun rises they hope that their shadows will cross. I like how the title George came up with misdirects expectations – it’s not that kind of industrial.”

He continued, “As we exit the mechanical age, you realize how much we have in common with our machines, how human they are. Suddenly it didn’t feel so absurd to write a love song from their perspective.”

You can listen to “Industrial Love Song” above and “Bells” here, while the Crooked Wing album cover artwork and tracklist are below.

The iHeartRadio Music Awards Will Feature An ‘Exclusive Performance’ From Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’

Here’s some good news for any Swifties who are still mourning the end of The Eras Tour.

The 2025 edition of the iHeartRadio Music Awards will feature an “exclusive performance” from the first night of Taylor Swift‘s record-breaking tour, according to USA Today. Swift performed 44 songs during that show, held on March 17, 2023, at Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, including surprise selections “Mirrorball” and “Tim McGraw.” It’s unknown which song(s) will play during the ceremony, or if Swift will be in attendance.

“They had to work really hard to get the tickets,” Swift told Time in 2023 about her mindset heading into The Eras Tour. “I wanted to play a show that was longer than they ever thought it would be, because that makes me feel good leaving the stadium.” She also discussed the physical demands of playing three-hour shows. “I know I’m going on that stage whether I’m sick, injured, heartbroken, uncomfortable, or stressed,” she said. “That’s part of my identity as a human being now. If someone buys a ticket to my show, I’m going to play it unless we have some sort of force majeure.”

The 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards air on Fox on March 17 (the two-year anniversary of the beginning of The Eras Tour) at 8 p.m. ET.

The ‘Stranger Things’ Cast Kept Busy During The Long Wait For The Final Season By Focusing On Music

The most recent new episode(s) of Stranger Things premiered on July 1, 2022. That’s less than three years ago, but for whatever reason (probably something to do with our brains processing a dangerous amount of information every day, idk), it feels much longer. Thankfully, that Dustin-less streak is nearly over: the fifth and final season of the Netflix series is set to debut later this year.

So, what has the cast been doing over the past three years?

Well, Millie Bobby Brown married to Bon Jovi’s son, and David Harbour tied the knot with (then reportedly got separated from) Lily Allen. But the cast’s connections to the music world has more direct links.

Below, you’ll find four Stranger Things cast members who have released music since the season 4 finale, beyond just Winona Ryder lip-syncing to “MacArthur Park” in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Although that’s good, too.

Finn Wolfhard

Finn Wolfhard has starred in a pair of PUP videos, so you know he’s got kick-ass music taste. And if you don’t know, check out his public Spotify playlists. There’s “music” (featuring Modern Baseball, Jeff Rosenstock, and SWMRS), “Summer” (Delroy Wilson, ABBA, Jonathan Richman), and “best Wilco” (shout out to “Misunderstood”), among many others. This June, the punk- and rock-loving actor, who previously put out music with the bands Calpurnia and The Aubreys, is releasing his debut solo album, Happy Birthday.

“Music for me has always been something that I can control,” Wolfhard said in a statement. “And while I’m really grateful for acting and for a long time, it really provided me that peace, it’s just a different thing now that I’m an adult and that it’s a career. I still enjoy it a lot, but when I am by myself and get to play guitar and write a song, it’s a different kind of feeling I’m after.”

The nostalgic first single “Choose The Latter” sounds like a lost gem from the Elephant 6 collective. It’s “music” playlist-worthy.

Djo

To be honest, the first time I saw the name “Djo,” I assumed it was a Las Vegas pool party DJ. I’m proud to admit that I was very wrong. Djo is the musical moniker of Joe Keery (formerly of Post Animal), one-half of the best character pairing on Stranger Things (we’ll get to the other half later). The first Djo album came out in 2019, and while it received favorable psych-rock comparison to Tame Impala, it was 2022’s Decide that proved Djo was more than a vanity project. The album’s breakthrough hit, lush synth-pop single “End Of Beginning,” has over 1 billion streams on Spotify and peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.

For his next album, Djo is going in a promising new direction: The Crux is inspired by late 60’s and 70’s pop (appropriately, I also hear shades of The 1975), as you can hear on early singles “Basic Being Basic” and “Delete Ya.”

The Crux is out April 4, followed by a spring and summer tour. You can also catch Keery playing Pavement singer Stephen Malkmus in Range Life: A Pavement Story.

Jamie Campbell Bower

Jamie Campbell Bower — he of the Bob Dylan butt tattoo — was the lead singer of the English punk band Counterfeit. But when they broke up in 2020, the actor went solo with stark songs like “Run On Me” and “Devil In Me,” both of which could have worked as the theme for FX’s Justified.

“I wanted to capture the energy of the room, you can’t replicate that digitally so what you hear is what we got on the day playing together for the first time,” he told Schön about his process. “The video too was very organic. There’s a sort of DIY-ness to art that I really enjoy and makes the process so much more seamless. Rather than asking permission to do or make something. We just do it. That, in my opinion, is how it should be done.

Campbell Bower hasn’t released a full-length album, but he’s continued to share new music, including last year’s haunting “The Witch of Bodmin Moor” and a passionate cover of Sleep Token’s “Euclid.”

Maya Hawke

Finally, we get to Maya Hawke (Steve and Robin platonic friends for life!). She’s released three LPs with label Mom + Pop Music, the home of Magdalena Bay, Courtney Barnett, and Tiny Habits, as well as the pleasant Clipped Wings EP.

“I’ve never held anything back when I’ve made my records. I never tried to be less me. And I wasn’t ever being shy. But as I got older and got to know myself as a human and as a writer, I got better at describing my feelings, having self-awareness, knowing where I am and how to talk about it,” she told Variety.

With every release, Hawke has further developed her indie folk-pop sound; she wouldn’t be out of place touring with Phoebe Bridgers or Big Thief.

‘Adolescence’: Everything To Know About Netflix’s Devastating Limited Series That’s Being Called One Of The Best Shows Of 2025

The reviews are in: Adolescence is one of the best shows of 2025 so far. The New York Times‘ Margaret Lyons called an episode “one of the more fascinating hours of TV I’ve seen in a long time,” while Rolling Stone‘s Alan Sepinwall raved, “But in what Adolescence has to say, and in how eloquently and audaciously it says it, it’s also among the very best things — and an early contender for the best thing — you will see on the small screen this year.”

But what is the Netflix show about?

Here’s everything to know about Adolescence, including plot details, the cast, and the premiere date.

Plot

Adolescence is a rewarding watch, but not an easy one.

Created by Jack Thorne and Peaky Blinders favorite Stephen Graham, the limited series is about a 13-year-old boy who is arrested for the murder of a teenage girl who goes to his school. “We could have made a drama about gangs and knife crime, or about a kid whose mother is an alcoholic or whose father is a violent abuser,” Graham told Tudum. “Instead, we wanted you to look at this family and think, ‘My God. This could be happening to us!’ And what’s happening here is an ordinary family’s worst nightmare.”

Every episode is told in one continuous shot, so there’s little relief from the tragic subject material. “Without sounding pretentious, it’s the marriage of both mediums,” Graham explained to The Hollywood Reporter about the “oner” approach. “Technically, it’s a play, and we’re playing to the camera. We spent a whole week [for each episode] rehearsing as actors with [director Philip Barantini], and we went through every beat, through every moment, piece by piece by piece by piece. We dissected the script, which is beautifully written by Jack Thorne. And you just immerse yourself in that character.”

Here’s what Barantini had to say about filming the episodes:

“Basically, that means we press record on the camera and we don’t press stop until the very end of the hour. But it’s much more complicated… It takes months of preparation and weeks of rehearsals and an incredible team of people to pull it off at every stage, from the script to the locations to the production design to where exactly the camera is going to be able to shoot and from what angle.”

Adolescence is more than its gimmick, though. It’s an “astonishing” show.

Palmyra Share The Emo-Influenced ‘Palm Readers’ From Their Upcoming Album, ‘Restless’

Earlier this year, Palmyra announced a new album, Restless. We’ve already heard first single “Shape I’m In,” now comes “Palm Readers.” The heart-wrenching and vulnerable track — the chorus goes: “I’m so damn lonely tonight” — finds the Virginia trio leaning into emo; fans of Bright Eyes and Modern Baseball will enjoy this one.

Here’s what lyricist Sasha Landon had to say about “Palm Readers”:

“I started writing the lyrics for ‘Palm Readers’ in the winter of 2022. I was fresh off of a big self-reckoning out-patient mental health program experience at a hospital in my hometown. For me, it’s about hard lessons, and about being so deep in the weeds that you can’t tell there are still other folks around you. I was learning about how to tend to myself, and about how consequential the way we talk to ourselves is for our mental health, and I think this song is trying to paint a picture of my internal dialogue at the time. I remember sitting with a friend one night that January and listening to her tell a story about a palm reader approaching her at a hole-in-the-wall dive bar; he looked at the lines on her hand and said something along the lines of, ‘you’ve lived a lot of lives, you must be tired… you’re almost there.’”

Lucy Dacus Gets Noisy In ‘Talk,’ The Latest Single From ‘Forever Is A Feeling’

Lucy Dacus has already shared a few tracks from her upcoming album Forever Is A Feeling: “Ankles,” “Limerence,” and “Best Guess.” On Wednesday (March 12), she previewed one more. In the fuzzed-out “Talk,” Dacus asks, “Why can’t we talk anymore? / We used to talk for hours / Do I make you nervous? Or bored? / Or did I drink you ’til the last drop?”

When asked by Dazed whether she was anxious to release a solo album following the Grammy-nominated success of Boygenius, Dacus replied, “So anxious. You’re hitting it on the head right now. So anxious for so many reasons. Going from doing everything with Julien [Baker] and Phoebe [Bridgers] to being by myself, I’ve been worried that it’s gonna feel lonely.”

She continued, “But in general, the perception that if I don’t win three Grammys, or if I don’t sell out Madison Square Garden, that somehow everything I do is lesser. But I have goals for this that are so different. The main goal was to make it and be proud of it, which I’ve already done. Now, I just want to share it in a way that gets it across. But this is also the first time I think people’s expectations of me have been higher than my own. So, yeah, it’s all the usual anxieties plus a whole new category. You think it would get easier, but I don’t feel that.”

Haim Are Back With ‘Relationships,’ The First Sleek Taste Of Their Forthcoming Album

It’s been five long years since Haim released the Album Of The Year-nominated Women In Music Pt. III. But on Wednesday (March 12), sisters Danielle, Alana, and Este Haim shared the first (Nicole Kidman meme-indebted) single from their still-unannounced new album. “Relationships,” produced by Rostam Batmanglij and Danielle, begins with old-school record scratches before settling into a familiar, sleek groove.

Haim didn’t drop any information about their fourth album, other than a brief tease in the press release: “Relationships” is “a contrast to the forthcoming album’s Rock sound.” The capitalization is theirs.

In an interview with i-d timed to the release of “Relationships,” Alana said the new album is the “the closest we’ve ever gotten to how we wanted to sound.” She continued, “Coming into this album, it feels like all three of us are really in tune with what we want, and we’re not f*cking afraid to say like — I’m sorry, now I’m two beers in — if I want to f*ck somebody, I’ll f*ck in the way that I want to. I’m not gonna feel judged by it. If I wanna go on dates, if I wanna do whatever… Do whatever feels good to you.”

Tool Was Booed At Their Own Music Festival, And Now A Fan Is Considering Filing A Lawsuit Against Them

Tool

Tool are one of the great rock bands of the era, with classic albums like Ænima and Lateralus. But everything seemed to go wrong at Live In The Sand, the group’s all-inclusive destination music festival at Hard Rock & Royalton Resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Tool promised to play “two unique sets,” but on night two, “they only played an hour and mostly repeats from the first night,” according to a fan on the band’s subreddit. “Why fly to the DR on a 3 night ticket to watch an hour of repeat songs from the night before? Not sure what to say but this was a very disappointing show.” The band was booed and heckled by the crowd (there’s video), and now one attendee is reportedly trying to put together a class-action lawsuit against Maynard James Keenan & Co. and festival organizers.

“The potential lawsuit against the promoters of Tool In The Sand is indeed being investigated,” Georgia-based lawyer Stas Rusek told Louder Sound. “We have had lots of interest from Tool fans who attended the festival, a category which I personally fall into. These were my 27th and 28th Tool shows. There was a palpable sense of betrayal in the air as the show began the second night, and it lingered throughout the remainder of the weekend.”

He continued:

“What it boils down to is that purchasers of the festival package were promised ‘two unique sets’ by Tool. While the comments on these posts argue about what ‘unique’ means, the reality is that the opportunity to see Tool play two unique sets, ie no repeats, was the determining factor for most attendees to pull the trigger on spending thousands of dollars to attend. Most Tool fans, like me, have attended multiple shows on the same tour, and we know that, due to the spectacular and complex nature of their show, most songs will be repeated. However, this is not what festival attendees were promised.”

Tool has yet to respond to the controversy.

Oasis’ Reunion Tour Is Being Turned Into A Movie Produced By The Creator Of ‘Peaky Blinders’

Oasis — a notoriously chill band — are going on tour for the first time since 2009 beginning this July. Along the way, they will be filmed for a movie about the reunion, produced by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (Meet Me In The Bathroom).

A release date hasn’t been announced yet, but Sony Music Vision will distribute the movie, and it’s being produced by Magna Studios, which has also produced Beastie Boys Story and Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now.

Earlier this week, Liam Gallagher got into a tiff, as he is wont to do, with an NME report over the band that will join him and Noel on tour. “NME tell me who your source pots are that keep giving you info about OASIS and I’ll give you an exclusive interview about up n coming OASIS tour you can have it all but how much do you want it LG x,” he wrote on X. In a follow-up post, he added, “It’s not the lineup reveal I’m bothered about I’ll reveal that to you in a minute I’m more bothered about the line where it says a source close to the band and tour that really causes me a great deal of concern LG x.”

Liam then revealed the lineup himself: Tony McCarroll, Alan White, Zak Starkey, and Chris Sharrock — except those are all former Oasis drummers.

This movie is going to be great.

Lil Nas X has shared a new song from his upcoming album Dreamboy every day this week, beginning with the title track, then “Big Dummy” and “Swish.” On Thursday (March 13), he released “Right There!” in which he details a particularly wild night out.

“Late to the party, come on / In the club, get ghetto (bitch, get ghetto),” Lil Nas X raps over a bouncy beat. “Three bitches on me, man, the night can’t get no better (can’t get no better) / That’s it right there (yeah), that’s it right there (yeah) / that’s it right there, that’s it right there.” He also includes references to Remy Ma and Papoose (“To tell you the truth, n***a, I’m Papoose, I’ma need my Rеmy”) and Jimmy Neutron (“Need that brand Neutron like Jimmy”).

In a video shared to his Instagram, Lil Nas X said, “Do y’all ever think about how great it is that we get to be on Earth? And we get to, like, do stuff? Like, we get to go on all of these fun adventures and stuff! And we get to try new stuff, and be really bad at it, and eventually be good at it. And we get to fall in love with people, and fall in love with stuff… Oh, and I’m not high, bitch!”

We’re In A Post-Boygenius Era

The Boys are back.

In 2018, Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, and Phoebe Bridgers teamed up to form Boygenius, an indie supergroup that released the best song of 2018 (and, in my estimation, the best song of the 2010s). It seemed like a one-off collaboration at the time, but five years later, they reformed for The Record. Critical admiration, Nirvana homages, and Grammys followed. Then, following a sold-out tour, the Boys went on hiatus to focus on their solo careers.

Let’s catch up with Baker, Dacus, and Bridgers to see what they’re up to now in a post-Boygenius era.

Julien Baker

Julien Baker and Torres (real name: Mackenzie Scott) had a wild idea during COVID-era lockdown: what if they made a country album together? Unlike most projects that originated during quarantine, however, they saw it through: Send A Prayer My Way, which includes twangy singles “Sugar In The Tank” and “Tuesday,” comes out on April 18 via Matador Records.

Interestingly, despite The Record dropping in 2023, Send A Prayer My Way came first; a decision was made to “temporarily shelve” the album until Baker was finished with her Boygenius duties, otherwise the promotional cycle with Torres (including a spot on The Tonight Show) would have been rushed.

“It sucked because we were both chomping at the bit to get it out,” Baker told The Independent. “It would’ve felt really bad to start something and have an end date already in the future and to truncate it [because] it had to be done by the time I started doing Boygenius stuff. I’m glad we waited.”

You can catch Julien Baker & Torres on tour this spring.

Lucy Dacus

Lucy Dacus released her first three albums on indie stalwart Matador. But she signed with a major label (Geffen) for Forever Is A Feeling, which features contributions from both Baker and Bridgers, as well as Hozier, Bartees Strange, and Blake Mills.

“I think with this whole record, I wrote songs as things were happening,” Dacus told Dazed Digital about Forever Is A Feeling, which is due out March 28. “A lot of the time, it’s taken years before I can write about something, but this is the first time I felt like I needed to write about my current emotions, for my own well-being, to express to myself what’s going on.”

The early singles have been a terrific showcase for Dacus’ smoky voice and candid songwriting. She’s also a terrific person: Dacus gave away $10,000 in $500 increments to trans people looking to pay for gender-affirming surgeries.

Phoebe Bridgers

Let’s (I know the) end with the unknown: is Phoebe Bridgers releasing an album this year? There’s been no official announcement or even any unofficial rumors, but come on, it’s been five (!) years since Punisher.

After Boygenius announced their hiatus in early 2024, Bridgers has stayed mostly off the radar, other than performing with Sloppy Jane in Jane Schoenbrun’s must-see I Saw The TV Glow, producing collaborator Christian Lee Hutson’s album Paradise Pop. 10, and a Disneyland date with comedian and actor Bo Burnham.

Bridgers may have caught the acting bug herself, as she was recently spotted on the set of the Robert Pattinson-starring movie Primetime. The A24 film “follows a journalist who takes on an underworld of crime and ends up changing television forever,” according to Variety, and is said to be inspired by To Catch A Predator. Maybe Bridgers can get Pattinson to sing in a freaky lil’ voice on her next album, whenever it eventually comes out. Just a thought.

Each week our staff of film and television experts surveys the entertainment landscape to select the ten best new/newish shows available for you to stream at home. We put a lot of thought into our selections, and our debates on what to include and what not to include can sometimes get a little heated and feelings may get hurt, but so be it, this is an important service for you, our readers. With that said, here are our selections for this week.

15. Severance (Apple TV Plus)

Apple TV+

After a long, long break, one of the best shows on TV is back. Severance picks up where season 1 left off, with Mark (Adam Scott), Helly (Helly Riggs), Dylan (Dylan), and Irving (Irving Bailiff) trifling with the severance barrier, “leading them further down a path of woe,” according to the cryptic Apple TV Plus synopsis. There are so many mysteries left to answer: what’s the deal with Ms. Casey (Dichen Lachman)? What’s the deal with Seth Milchick (series MVP Tramell Tillman)? And seriously, what’s the deal with the freaking goats?

14. Common Side Effects (Max)

adult swim

Mike Judge and Greg Daniels have been attached to some of the best TV comedies of the last 30 years, including Parks and Recreation, The Simpsons, and The Office for Daniels and Beavis and Butt-Head and Silicon Valley for Judge. They also co-created King of the Hill. Their latest collaboration is producing Common Side Effects, a surreal Adult Swim animated series about the “world’s greatest medicine” from creators Joseph Bennett (Scavengers Reign) and Steve Hely (30 Rock). Episodes will stream the next day on Max.

13. The White Lotus (Max)

The White Lotus returns with a new location (Thailand) and a new group of talented actors playing emotionally- and spiritually-empty rich folks. The cast includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Blackpink’s Lisa, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Aimee Lou Wood. “I do feel like the other seasons were a rehearsal for this one,” creator Mike White teased.

12. Reacher (Prime Video)

Prime Video/Amazon

You know what time is it? It’s Reacher o’clock. In season 3, the big guy meets an even bigger guy. He also “hurtles into the dark heart of a vast criminal enterprise when trying to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out,” according to the Prime Video synopsis. “There, he finds a world of secrecy and violence and confronts some unfinished business from his own past.” Every episode is basically the same, which is to say, they’re all a lot of fun.

11. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (Netflix)

Paramount

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is one of the most purely enjoyable big-budget movies of the 2020s. So I will never understand why it underperformed at the box office. The people weren’t ready for Chris Pine’s melting face, I guess. But hopefully enough people watch Honor Among Thieves on Netflix that a sequel gets the greenlight. Do it for Jarnathan.

10. The Gutter (Hulu)

Magnolia Pictures

The Gutter premiered at South By Southwest in 2024 to strong reviews. Now that the 2025 edition of the Austin-based festival is here, the bowling comedy directed by Yassir Lester lands on Hulu. The plot follows Walt (played by Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’s Shameik Moore), who lands a job at a bowling alley, and is soon pressured by former pro-bowler and current champion drinker Skunk (The Good Place‘s D’Arcy Carden) to accept his role as the greatest bowler ever put on this earth.

9. Deli Boys (Hulu)

hulu

Hulu’s Deli Boys is a crime-comedy about a pair of pampered Pakistani-American brothers who lose everything following their father’s sudden death and are forced to reckon with his secret life of misdeeds as they try to take up his mantle in the underworld. The cast includes Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, and Poorna Jagannathan.

8. Heretic (Max)

Via A24

You know who rocks? Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East. Between Yellowjackets and Companion, Thatcher is everywhere all of a sudden (not a complaint), while East gave a “who is that and where can I see more of her”-level performance in The Fabelmans; she’s also reportedly in Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming movie. Together, you can see them in Heretic, where they play Mormon missionaries who attempt to convert a man (Hugh Grant!) who is more dangerous — and creepy — than he seems.

7. Daredevil: Born Again (Disney Plus)

disney plus

Ben and Jen (Garner) are in the headlines, and there’s a new Daredevil project. What year is it, 2003? Daredevil: Born Again brings back Charlie Cox as blind crime-fighting lawyer Matt Murdock, as well as Vincent D’Onofrio as mob boss Wilson Fisk, who is pursuing his own political endeavors. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course. Get ready for a kick-ass one-shot fight scene.

6. Moana 2 (Disney Plus)

disney

Sorry, parents, but get ready to watch Moana 2 a million times. The sequel takes place three years after the original, and has Moana (voiced by Auliʻi Cravalho) reuniting with Maui (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) to find a long-lost island. Lin-Manuel Miranda didn’t write the songs for Moana 2, like he did for Moana (“Shiny” is a banger), but at least Alan Tudyk is back as Heihei.

5. Anora (Hulu)

NEON/FilmNation

Sean Baker should have an Oscar for The Florida Project. And Red Rocket. Better late than never, I suppose. Baker actually won four Academy Awards for Anora (Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Film Editing), while star Mikey Madison was named Best Actress for playing a Brooklyn-based stripper who hastily marries the son of a Russian oligarch. Unlike too many movies to list them all, Anora actually deserved to win Best Picture. It’s great.

4. Long Bright River (Peacock)

Peacock

Long Bright River is a suspense thriller about Philadelphia police officer Mickey (played by Amanda Seyfried), who patrols a part of the city that has been hard-hit by the opioid crisis. As per the logline: “When a series of murders hit the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history – her ongoing search for her missing younger sister – might be related to the case.” The subject material is a bit of a downer, so to cheer you up, here’s Mamma Mia 3 (?!) star Seyfried covering a Joni Mitchell song on the dulcimer. Delightful!

3. Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney (Netflix)

Netflix

The guests for the first episode of John Mulaney’s weekly talk show Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney: Michael Keaton, Joan Baez, Fred Armisen, Jessica Roy, and musical guest Cypress Hill. Oh, and the GOAT himself, Richard Kind, is Mulaney’s sidekick and announcer. This is the definition of must-see TV.

1. The Electric State (Netflix)

netflix

It’s tough to pinpoint Netflix‘s most expensive movie, but don’t be surprised if it’s The Electric State. The film, which reunites the directors (Anthony and Joe Russo) and writers (Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely) of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, has a reported $320 million budget. That’s quite the chunk of change, but for Netflix, it’s money well spent if the retro-futuristic The Electric State — which stars Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, who team up to find her brother; also, there are robots — ends up being the level of hit it almost assuredly will be.

Chappell Roan’s New Song ‘The Giver’ Is A Boot-Stomping Good Time

Chappell Roan had a remarkable rise to the top of the pop pantheon in 2024, despite only releasing one new song that year. That’s how good “Good Luck, Babe!” — and 2023’s The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess — is.

But on Thursday (March 13), Roan shared a new song, “The Giver.” Okay, she technically debuted the high-energy lesbian country track on SNL (the best musical performance of the season), but now there’s an official studio version — and it’s a whole lot of fun.

“I have such a special place in my heart for country music,” Roan said in a statement. “I grew up listening to it every morning and afternoon on my school bus and had it swirling around me at bon fires, grocery stores and karaoke bars. Many people have asked if this means I’m making a country album??? My answer is… right now I’m just making songs that make me feel happy and fun and The Giver is my take on cuntry xoxo may the classic country divas lead their genre, I am just here to twirl and do a little gay yodel for y’all.”

Selena Gomez And Benny Blanco Share The Retro Video For Their Suggestive New Song ‘Sunset Blvd’

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are very much in love, and they have the album to prove it. I Said I Love You First features singles “Scared Of Loving You” (co-written by Finneas), “Call Me When You Break Up” (featuring Gracie Abrams), and now comes the Lana Del Rey-sounding “Sunset Blvd.”

“With open arms / Holding you naked, middle of Sunset Boulevard / Making you famous, everyone’s watching / Bare skin, concrete,” Gomez sings over a warm synth-pop beat. “They’re calling the police / Open arms / Holding you naked, middle of Sunset.” She also suggestively says that she wants a “big, big hard heart.”

Previously, Gomez and Blanco discussed making an album together. “We said at the beginning, ‘If this ever is weird, we cancel it f*cking immediately,’ because we knew what we had was so important,” he told Interview, while the Emilia Pérez actress added, “I definitely didn’t feel any sort of pressure. I was maybe just nervous with jitters in the beginning, and then slowly but surely it was happening and it sort of fell into place with a lot of hard work and love.”

I Said I Love You First is out 3/21 via SMG Music/Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope Records. Find more information here.
